The Ministry of Mines, GoI vide S.O. No. 924 (E), Dt: 20.02.2025 have made certain amendments to the principal notification issued vide S.O.423 (E), Dt: 10.02.2015. As per which, the following Minor Minerals (31 Minerals) are re-classified as Major Minerals:
(iii) Barytes
(xiv) Felspar
(xxii) Mica
(xxv) Quartz
The above Minor Minerals (31 Minerals) shall be considered as Major Minerals w e.f. 20.02.2025.
